I couldn’t agree more. I thought your earlier posts on the topic were eloquent. Just look at the mad, unreasoning panic of his advisers. They are going to win in ‘12 by portraying Romney as “weird”—and not only that, but they’ve telegraphed their strategy in advance. That is blind, naked panic. You don’t win in an economic meltdown of catastrophic proportions by calling your opponent ‘weird’. (I know they said they’d go after his business practices too, but come on. Does Obama really want to compete on the playing field of ‘business experience’?)
Obama is swirling the bowl. If we can just keep it from being a three way race, he’s toast.
