Way too simple. We have been subjected to the harm done by liberal policies for years now but our violent crime rate continues to drift downward even as our economy tanks.

I think it's largely the fact that where the consequences of violent crime are mild and uncertain, even nonexistent, then criminals will run rampant. That would have happened here too, but we have never totally castrated our police as the brits have.

Our test is coming however, these flash mobs and racial thug attacks are the harbingers, and I hope our police forces are ready to deal decisively. We know from watching London that puny half-measures will never do.
