Are we to avoid water if possible? I like water. I don’t find myself crossing the desert or hiking through the Badlands, Death Vally or the Grand Canyon very often...What’s the problem with having 5 or 6 glasses of water each day?

Being as I'm a desert dweller (111 predicted for today), I make it a point that if I want a sip, I take a slug......and I also snack on salty stuff; retains water and also makes you thirsty a bit more often.

On hot days working outside I have drank nearly 2 gallons in one day.
