This really doesnt affect students from Idaho or any other state. Regardless of this law, those students would still have to pay out of state tuition, the same as a Texas kid going to school in Florida would. This law does not make out of state tuition more fair or less fair to anyone else.

The point is someone who broke the law gets rewarded while others who follow the law get no reward.

There is no way, at least no reasonable way, one can argue an illegal alien can be a “resident” of a State. Put another way, there’s no reasonable argument that can state an illegal alien is NOT, by definition, “out of state”.

It’s lunacy to suggest otherwise. Just pure lunacy. I don’t care how long they have physically been in the state, they are still here ILLEGALLY.
