The last time the Palis were unirked was somewhere around May 1948. Before then they were a happy, but simple people, who wandered the desert in abject poverty and lived a comfortable, if spartan 7th century lifestyle.

Now they are thinking of naming their new nation-state “Irkistan” because they are always pissed off at something.
