Populist Huey Long, perhaps ? Granted, their platforms are completely different, but the populist theme is there.
My big fear is isn’t RuPaul winning the Republican nomination. My big fear is the arrogant and lazy media tying RuPaul and his gang to the Conservative Movement during the 2012 Demolition Derby.
I wish the other candidates would start attacking him already. Then they can go after Myth Romney and Jon Huntsman(Who ?)

My concern is that the media will egg him to running as a third party candidate in the hopes that it will get Obama reelected. It will probably work.
