The sun doesn’t generate cosmic rays - these are very energetic particles being brewed by things far more energetic than the sun....or at least, that’s the stuff I was taught during my physics class journeys. Those little buggers were generated a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
He suggested that cloud formation was seeded by the interaction of cosmic radiation with the atmosphere. Thus greater amounts of solar activity leads to a more powerful solar wind, less incident cosmic radiation, less cloud formation, and greater global temperatures.
