If you hire the right type of people, you’ll get tax credits. As long as you operate in a way that fits our agenda, you’ll get a break. If this is his plan, we’re in for a very long 17 months and more of the great recession. This will do nothing.

Another Trillion dollar slush fund, now that's audacity.

This article doesn't mention blaming Bush.
I'm going to be VERY disappointed in Mr. Obama if he doesn't blame George W. Bush for something during next week's speech...

So once again, Obama will be extolling the socio-political equivalent of a perpetual motion machine, knowing full well the MSM will do its best to provide an adequate number of voters gullible enough to invest in such folly.
He is focused on jobs... focused like a frickin' laser beam. At least on his own job, in any event.

The only thing he could possibly say that would help improve the economy is to tell us that he and Biden are resigning effective immediately.

Obama’s plan has to be “targeted”, “focused”, and temporary, because it is not about the economy it is about buying votes.
Broad-based, systemic, and permanent reform is what is needed, but that won’t buy votes.
This speech will be Obama’s waterloo.
