They live under the fallacy of “If you can dream it you can do it”. Their constant belief in “we can do the impossible” leads them to strive for a Utopia. Their arguments are always some version of “Well, we may not be able to achieve Utopia but we should at least try!” They do not, will not, and can not see the effects of their strive for Utopia. To them, reaching Utopia means any amount of suffering is acceptable.

We know that is completely insane but when you press any leftist on any statist BS the crux of any of their arguments always - always - boil down to “The government should do (x) because they can and it will help the people” with not a thought or care in the world given about those who are hurt by doing (x).

"...it’s hard to imagine people taking him seriously for the remaining 14 months of his current term"

Zer0, be a Mensch and resign.

Up until now, I’ve thought that running a strong presidential campaign is a sign that one can probably govern fairly well too. But there appears to be little correlation between the two.

No, you thought that the media blowing smoke, covering their eyes and ignoring problems would continue to fool everybody after he was in office as well as before. Because , even though your piece is basically a hate-filled attack on Republicans, the old magic just isn't there. You lying suck up.

Crocodile tears. Its obvious this is all just kabuki until, or if, he gets reelected.

Of course, if he doesent get reelected the Left will descend on the house of Obozo like insane locust.

Sorry, Daily Beast, you are truly beastly if you think most of us want more stringent regulations from the overweening EPA. They will never be satisfied, nor will the environuts.

Obama’s a worthless joke and the ME is falling apart

Things are ramping up worldwide and we have a complete fool in charge for at least 17 months

The world is going to be such a mess in Jan 2013 I don’t know if we can ever recover

More dispiriting news, this time about the White House overturning the EPA’s proposed new rules on smog. That comes a few hours after the jobs report from Friday morning, one of the bleakest yet.

Somebody connected some dots.
