Right on. The only reason that we came out of the depression was that FDR died. Look at how pathetic the economy was after the end of WWII. If FDR would have still been alive, it would have been more of the same and the depression would have continued.

Men went to war and women went to factories, and suddenly, poverty became unnoticed, as America became fully preoccupied by war.As the Keynes vs Hayek video mentioned, yes, you can have full employment. But you also ration basic goods and people live an austere life. Sounds like the world of Orwell's 1984.
