Teachers are branding thousands of children racist or homophobic following playground squabbles.
More than 20,000 pupils aged 11 or younger were last year put on record for so-called hate crimes such as using the word ‘gaylord’.
One youngster was accused of being racist for calling a boy ‘broccoli head’ and another was said to be homophobic for telling a teacher ‘this work is gay’.
Two primary school children were reported for homophobia after quarrelling over a rubber and calling each other ‘gay’ and ‘lesbian’.
Those youngsters reported for petty offences at nursery classes included four in the London borough of Tower Hamlets and three in Hertfordshire.
In total, 34,000 nursery, primary and secondary pupils were effectively classed as bigots because of anti-bullying rules.
The school can keep the pupil’s name and ‘crime’ on file.
The record can be passed from primaries to secondaries or when a pupil moves between schools.

I REALLY hope they are talking about boots and not the other...uh...common use of the word rubber. For that matter, why would children be quarreling over a boot??? Unless there's a third meaning for rubber, I don't know of.
I found that bit of “English English” really funny, in this context, especially.
Lol...although it seems hilarious, in Britain a rubber is a pencil eraser.
This kind of Orwellian B.S. is a good example of the nanny state gone wild, with teachers in nursery schools labeling toddlers as ‘bigots’ and the government school bureaucracy keeping the alleged bigotry on the child’s ‘permanent record’. When citizens - and their little children - have to be afraid of their government, which is the case in Britain these days, all is lost. Lest we become smug, realize that the U.S. is very close behind. and like the Brits, this is because we, as a people, allow it to happen.
So Great Britain also has a great need for a thorough bitch-slapping of its “educators.”
At church last night, a youngster was telling us that he learned about bullying in school yesterday. According to him, telling another kid “your hair looks funny” is classified as bullying. I told my daughter we’re raising a generation of wussies.
No wonder “W” didn’t like the stuff...

In fact, this whole thing has already started this school year in NJ with the new anti-bully laws. Everything is investigated and reported, database created for sure.
Well, it IS true that there are SOME truths that just aren’t spoken owing to good old-fashioned decency; like telling the teacher, “You’re a pathological liar and your Mother dresses you funny”; although absolutely true, it would be going beyond the pale to actually SAY it.
So, kudos to that youngster over at the church; SOMEBODY has to maintain American decency. God knows the leftists and their hellspawn won’t.
