I had been raised to be respectful of all peoples, but, it was at the height of womans lib that I found myself at a crossroads and started to reevaluate that philosophy...I had held a door open for a lady to pass and she started to yell at me about women's lib blah,blah,blah...so I just stepped ahead of her and closed the door in her face at which point she yelled “that's just f’ing rude”. I thought about carrying a cattle prod for instances like this, but, my wife talked me out of it.

Please don’t give up your gentlemanly ways, crazyhorse691! Real women appreciate a door being held open for them. I have taught my son to hold open a door, give his seat to a female etc... A man who respects a woman (IMHO) shows true class, appreciation and intelligence. They are gems among rocks.
