The bridge across the Ohio between Henderson, KY, and Evansville, IN, is entirely in Kentucky—in fact you don’t enter Indiana until you are a bit north of the bridge on the Indiana side. I had always assumed that was because the course of the river had shifted at some point.
I am sure that you are correct there.
In fact that river shift allowed Kentucky to place a thoroughbred horse track on the north side of the Ohio at Henderson.
How great was that?
