For the Monday Grassroots Radio Colorado show, I went to Occupy Denver and Elliot Fladen went to Occupy Colorado Springs.
We found occupiers who were willing to get on the phone and go on air with Jason and Ken.
The audio of hour 1 is on the Hear Us Now site, follow the link if you are interested in listening to it.
btw, you can also find a video I took Sunday afternoon from occupy Denver on the site. It isn't the best quality video... but it works. http://hearus-now.org/?p=2891
Let’s get some conservatives to “occupy” Hollyweird and call for the beheading of the wealthy entertainers!!
woohoo!!
revolution!!
//I doubt the leftists would get the point...
I need to listen to that tape.
Here is Santa Barbara, CA the thug occupiers are calling for all excess wealth to be taken from the rich and given to those who really need it: like the homeless, the Indians, and anyone who claims they need it and to rebuild parks, roads, and community centers for the poor.
For the first time I have actually heard a monetary figure for wealthy: $50,000 a year.
My guess that these people have never worked a day in their lives and have no idea what the value of wages versus work is.
the college-educated ignorant masses.
Good job on the video.
I just happen to be driving out to Colorado (Highlands Ranch) on Saturday. Thinking I’ll down load the podcast and listen to while driving.
Funny maybe I’ll take my grandson (his is 6) to the ‘occupiers’, he is one funny kid. Already has a clue. Told a friend of his about the ‘real world’, said ‘you don’t work you don’t eat’, (it was only snack time but they needed to clean up the backyard). I guess he takes after his grandma.
Useful Idiots.
"According to my opinion, and the opinions of many defectors of my caliber, only about 15% of time, money, and manpower is spent on espionage as such. The other 85% is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion, active measures, or psychological warfare. What it basically means is: to change the perception of reality of every American that despite of the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country. It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages. The first stage being "demoralization". It takes from 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years required to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy exposed to the ideology of [their] enemy. In other words, Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least 3 generation of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism; American patriotism. Most of the activity of the department [KGB] was to compile huge amount / volume of information, on individuals who were instrumental in creating public opinion. Publisher, editors, journalists, uh actors, educationalists, professors of political science. Members of parliament, representatives of business circles. Most of these people were divided roughly into two groups: those who would tow the Soviet foreign policy, they would be promoted to positions of power through media and public manipulation; [and] those who refuse the Soviet influence in their own country would be character assassinated OR executed physically, come Revolution. "--KGB Defector Yuri Bezmenov--Soviet Subversion of the Free Press (Ideological subversion, Destabilization, CRISIS - and the KGB)
Roughly double what a full-time retail salesperson makes - so that's their frame of reference. :)
There are educated people, and there are degreed people.
Anyone who has a Humanities degree from the last 20 years is probably an ignorant fool, impervious to the effects of reason, and out of touch with reality.

HEY! I resemble that remark!
Obviously, these people have never paid for anything themselves.
$50 K? Gee. Now I’m wealthy!
