Now THAT must be ANYBODY'S fault but the dingbat that put herself in that situation.
I'm within 10 years of retiring and have NEVER owed close to $100,000 in my life less a mortgage.
When will the day come that it's somebody elses fault for everything bad in life?
Every single one of them screams "Lawsuit waiting to happen".
Clean themselves up, take off the gaudy makeup and fingernail polish, take all the metal out of their faces...then we could talk.....
....And I'd find out about their massive sense of entitlement, their utter lack of work ethic, and their complete dearth of worthwhile credentials, and they'd still not get the job. :-)
Actions have consequences. Life is hard, and it's harder when you're stupid.
And exactly how I kept my lunch down I will never know.
It’s too bad that they quit teaching critical thinking in school nowadays. Otherwise more would get it, I think.
I saw that, and wondered that myself.
Even with college loans, I'd have been hard-pressed to do that in my mid-20's. At what point do you say "I'm never, ever going to make enough to pay this all back?"
I've got a mortgage, that's about the only thing that I can think of that's worth going that deep in hock for. Maybe a Medical or Law degree, something that is front end loaded, but has an enormous payback later on.
"If we only got rid of those evil filthy 1%ers, we'd be on easy street."
I've seen this play before, and it's not pretty.
The time is NOW to move to a safe corner of the CW2 cube. Don't be stranded.

It’s want liberals do. Never take the blame when there are others to shove the the blame to
Well, it is, sort of. A decent library will yield far more information that any one person can process in a comparative four years of college. Add in internet research - at the same library - and anything that you want to know, in depth to a post doctoral level, can be yours for nothing, or nearly so.
(yes, I know that these things are taxpayer supported, but I'm glad to have them for my own benefit and don't begrudge others using them....)
Btt
That was supposed to be It’s what liberals do
Kind of reminiscent of Lenin, too:

That person should check out the Khan Academy where knowledge really is free.
Each one of them has a computer, camera, and Internet connection - more than enough to start a profitable business.
“KNOWLEDGE should be FREE” - Does that mean that professors should work for free?
