My old Granny liked to twist that around a little, with "You buttered your bread, now sleep in it".
The point of this thread was NOT to chatise Tiger Woods for his past behavior disgusting as it may have been. In the arena of sports there have been far worse.
My intention was to highlight the fact that the media is still unbelievably enamoured with a man that hasn’t won a tournament in 2 years, he’s ranked 60th+ among world players and may never have another significant win yet the media continue to treat him as though he’s rated #1 in the world and winning tournaments right and left.
Affirmative action for has been golfers? Who knows but I do know one thing for sure, In the 30 years that I’ve followed the PGA, no golfer has received the positive press regardless of performance that Tiger Woods has enjoyed....Not even close.
