Representative Frank defended his actions in support of the legislation that compelled banks to lend to untrustworthy borrowers as “well-intended,” and insisted that any blame for any bad outcomes really belongs to former President Bush because “he let me do it. He could’ve vetoed my bill. But he didn’t. Look, I’m just one member of a 435 member body. Any power I had pales in comparison with the power he had.”

Bullsh*t, Barney. Bush tried to rein in FNMA and FHLMC, but you and your buddies insisted nothing was wrong.

So why didn't dumb ass panderer-in-chief GW Bush veto any of the bills? GW Bush has allowed the continued destruction of our country because of his dull stupidity and naive views. He should have vetoed just about everything that was sent to him, including from the big spending Repubs as well. The point is, that GW Bush agreed in principle with every single piece of crap legislation and big gubmint spending that was sent to him.

And just to be clear, his buddies include the usual race-baitors and a willing, even eager, media.
