LOL - why join two groups with opposing views on most things?

I want to be in the same room with people that sh*t on the American Flag? Only if it gives me the opportunity to put my foot up someone’s butt.
The Tea Party couldn’t stand the stench, and the fleabaggers couldn’t stand having to clean up after themselves, or respect private and public property. That’s just the obvious physical conflicts. It’s pointless to try and explain the psychical and philosophical, not to mention theological differences to challenged Occupy minds. How would there ever be a melding of minds between utopian kooks and free people who appreciate small government and liberty?
I go out of my way to avoid such scum why would I want to join some alliance with that trash?
Polar opposites.
One is for decreasing the size of government and the other is for increasing the size of government.

As a Tea Partier, I reject even the hint of an alliance because all Tea Partiers I know:
- Loves America.
- Have, or are actively trying to find, a job.
- Pays taxes.
- Doesn’t think the government owes us anything.
- Believes our Constitution has served us well for over 200 years and is a major reason we have remained in existence for that period of time.
- Believes the Constitution was written by Godly men and based on Godly principles.
- Believes America is the best country that has ever existed, even though it is not perfect and there is certainly room for improvement.
- Is law-abiding.
- Respects lawful authority.
- Cleans up after themselves.
There are many more, but, in short, that’s what makes us Tea Partiers and not OWSers, and that’s why there are more of us than there are you. I don’t see that we have anything in common that would warrant even a discussion regarding an alliance. But, maybe when you grow up you can join us.
Be careful, folks. This is latest psyops from the Commies. They were pulling this crap with me on another forum and I got into a shootin’ match with them. They are trying to co-opt us with their ‘bowel movement’ and putting it like...”We share similar ideals” bullcrap. Don’t fall for it.

The latest polls say upwards of 75% of Americans believe America is off the track. All the OWS guys and I suspect just about all freepers would agree.
What the pollsters never seem to ask is how we get it back on track.
Essentially the OWS guys want to make a hard left turn and the Tea Party wants to make a hard right turn.
The only thing they really have in common is a belief that we do indeed need to turn.
Ground rule number 1: at any joint gathering, Tea Party has dibs on the upwind position.
With trepidation I registered and wrote a lengthy, yet polite post as to why we could never co-mingle.
This blog seems to be some earnest young people wondering why if the tea party is part of the 99% they won’t join them.
I went easy on them because they seemed not to be the powers that be but young dupes.
I await their response.
