Cain will hold his own with Newt since this isn't about their debate as much as it is taking the spot light of the media's Romney vs. Perry ordeals.

Smart move. Cain and Newt will show how it is to be done and teach the media it's about what candidates stand for, not the show the media wants to put on.

No offense intended but you just might be missing an important point; this is actually tied to the smoking ad.

The point is that Cain's focus at this time is expanded name recognition. The underlying philosophy is that there's no such thing as bad publicity.
