That little weasel, Ron Paul? Why, there couldn’t be a viscious bone in his bod.......
Hard to believe? Really?
DC establishment red/blue, don’t matter, they’ll try to keep out anyone that might not play ball.
What? That makes no sense.
NO, you don’t get it. An accusation was made about who leaked this without one lick of evidence. It’s just an accusation based on assumption. For all we know she was referring to Cain’s campaign manager’s sleazy unethical past regarding financial issues. That was being discussed in the Perry circles then. This is the vetting process, get used to it.
MYOFB for once.
Underlings can’t keep their mouths shut, can they?
o matter. These false charges were cheaper to settle than to fight. How many of you would have done the same thing? Herman Cain is the Man! Go Herman!
I went to the tweet linked above, which might be from some people in the Perry campaign I guess, repeating the line that “racists are supporting Cain to prove they aren’t racist”. I wish someone would explain how that exactly works, though I’ve heard it from Democrats I can’t believe other Republicans would stoop that low. Smear, yes. Race card... they shouldn’t.
Texters seldom use real English, which is ambiguous enough as it is.
I’m not a twit, either.
You know what, you’re doing the same thing to Perry’s campaign that someone else is trying to do to Cain. Plant some halfbaked and unproven accusation and let them try to defend it. Evil. Just as evil as what’s happening to Cain.
I was involved in a crowded Republican primary for Congress. Most of the opposition research wasn’t used, but all the candidates and their campagns had a fair idea of what was out there on everybody else.
That’s basic prep. Don’t be caught off guard.
Silly and bad message discipline for a Perry op to hint at what’s to come, but that doesn’t mean that the Perry camp is behind the story. At this point, the accusation of republican fratricide is as serious as the story itself, and shouldn’t be made lightly or without evidence.
We should deal in facts. They’ll come out.
I really hope Cain doesn’t do days of denails on this story. He gave one and that is enough unless something else surfaces that contradicts him.
I really like Cain even though I am not committed to him as a candidate, but I know a slime job when I see one. This is despicable stuff.
I’m not planting it, it is out there already.
Funny though, one day I’m accused of being a ‘perrywinkle’ (actual name I was called) for defending him, the next day, I’m accused of attacking him.
For the record (and you can look at my past posts to see this), I would be happy with Cain, Perry, Newt, or Santorum (albeit, he is losing me), etc.. I’m pretty much anybody but Romney or Paul.
Go Herman.
So, could Politico be making it up?
We should assume they are until they out their sources. Then we can fairly evaluate the sources ...
Let’s see...
Cain volunteers were warned of a scorched earth campaign coming from the Perry camp, then a specific warning came out from a Cain staffer last week. Then the Karl Rove Iron Triangle connection joins Perry’s campaign 6 days ago. Then the tweet from his Arizona State Coordinator 3 days ago. Interestingly, on every thread, it is the Perry supporters who are by in large continuing to push and argue FOR Politico and NRO. They are doing the same on Twitter and Facebook.
You would think they would be trying to at least distance themselves
I like your bio page.
Ditto (and add Huntsman to the AB_ crowd). But that can get you in trouble with the respective fans, eh?
