To: Harmless Teddy Bear

Issue: artificial heart valve; prone to clotting which will lead to terminal strokes. Improved technology lead to reduced need for anticoagulants, but how much less is still unclear.

Chamomile tea, not as powerful as willow bark but a lot easier on the stomach. Don't take it if you are allergic to ragweed.

Fish oil helps but you need to take a lot of it.

Garlic works but you are going to be kind of stinky if you take enough to do the job.

Ginseng works but is not easy to find in most of the US.

Devil’s Claw does the job also is good for inflammation but, once again, can be very hard on your stomach.

Garlic and Chamomile can be taken if you are pregnant but the others should be avoided.

You made me have to dig out my books :)
