If you needed any more evidence of the political leaning of CNN, consider that much like Politico, it has in the last six days done at least 94 reports on the sexual harassment allegations involving Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain.
Substantially more shocking, according to LexisNexis, the supposedly most trusted name in news only did 77 total stories on Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's ties to domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, convicted real estate developer Tony Rezko, and America-hating Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

I think you may be correct. A big portion of the public just don’t believe what they see on CBSNBCCNNABC or read in the NYTIMESWASHPOSTLATIMES.
unfortunately the left’s cnn “news” is still the mainstay of doctors’ offices, gyms, and the like across the country.
a sizable percentage of people either do not care or do not know how to get information on their own.

I never donated before this past few years and so far have donated to Free Republic, Herman Cain, and Freedomworks PAC and plan on donating more now to Cain. To hell with the media.
The truth happens to be that Cain is the man with the plan who can! He is doing great in the Cain/Gingrich debate. Newt is using voice inflexction to cover his lack of ideas. Mr. Cain is amazing at his grasp of the subject matter, and his access to the facts is amazing. Mr. Cain speaks so people can easily understand what he is saying. Newt interrupts himself midstntende and veers off in another direxrion. He should slow down a bit.
..and all 77 of those stories, no doubt, harrassed conservatives on why they were making such a big deal out of it and why they being such racists by picking on The One.

I don’t think this “Media Political Bias” has ever been a secret to viewers. I think it is a contentious allegation only to journalists who still attempt a facade of objective reporting and even then, merely in order to make them feel better about themselves.
Folks watch what they want. If they don’t like it, they turn the channel. I don’t think a lot of conservatives would enjoy watching MSNBC unless they just like screaming at the TV — and there is probably some who do. Same for libs and Fox.
Don’t the news outlets pay through the nose for marketing to target specific viewers? Why wouldn’t the producers manage the programming to “play to their audience” if they are in the biz to make money?
So, I don’t think there is anyone left who could possibly be surprised by (what should have looooong been quite obvious) media bias.
Here’s an analysis I’d like to see: Since Fox leads ratings, does that indicate a majority of cable news viewers are conservative? If so, can that be reasonably extrapolated to the voting public?

We have an elected president who will produce no evidence of his past. Both he and his wife supposedly gave up their law licenses. Why would someone do that? Mr. Obama has a Connecticut social security number and he never lived there. No one remembers him attending Columbia College. What is the chance that a budding young politician of undeniable talent and promise spends his junior and senior years at Columbia, and no one remembers him? He will not provide college transcripts or medical history. He has provided nothing except a birth certificate that many experts claim to be forged. His friends include gangsters like Rezko and Ayers to name just two. He attended a church that ran down America every Sunday. He has had several name changes during his life. I could go on.
My point is why don’t we read about these things in the newspapers? Aren’t journalists curious? Doesn’t anyone care about these matters? Shouldn’t people know the history of their president other than two autobiographies or are we so wrapped up in our own partisanship that we just don’t care?
I find it very curious that none of these mysteries have been explained or questioned in the press but Politico ran 90 unsubstantiated stories in a 5 day period about Herman Cain’s alleged sexual harassments of 12 years ago not to mention the hundreds of other similar stories in every liberal newspaper. It used to be that a story was never run if there wasn’t a certifiable and unimpeachable source. I submit that we as a people should rise up and demand newspaper editors do the right thing. Respectable media should reject yellow journalism.
