It APPEARS to me that the "protestors" were trying to block the exit and these folks were trying to RIGHTFULLY push their way through the crowd.

A couple of mis-steps and the woman and the hippie ended up going down the steps.

But, I do not see evidence of her actually being PUSHED down the stairs.
