Are you referring to McQueary, because Paterno has been fired? I have no idea why McQueary is coaching but Paterno is not.

I just feel like these higher ups fired Paterno to take the heat off themselves. Firing McQueary wouldn't be necessary to do that.

What have you heard is going to happen tomorrow? Is Paterno going to show up at Beaver Stadium? And if he doesn’t, are the Nittany going to walk out en masse?

I was referring to McQueary.

I think they wanted to make a statement and firing Paterno would do that.

They had to do it. If they would have let him coach and if they would have won, He would have been praised and celebrated. It would have been a bad situation.
