It's called Crow. Did you think that I had forgot?

I don't understand your obsession with "Crow" but it may be that it shows your immaturity or vindictive nature, quite possibly both.

The cause of the first garage fire in CT is not official by the article you linked. In fact it states in the second article linked in the first, To his credit, Deputy Fire Marshall Rich Winn said it was "too early to tell" anything about the cause of the garage fire.

The only thing it says in the first article is, In that case, the local fire marshal's report concluded the Volt had nothing to do with the cause of the fire. That is according to John Voelker, the author, and there's nothing to back up his statement in either article.

Like I said before, neither I nor Modica has stated we think the fire was started by the Volt. I've looked to try to find a fire investigation report on the cause of the fire in CT and have been unable to locate it or any article with the cause of the fire citing the fire report. If you can find that and not just the say so of the author let us know.

You did forget a matter in which I reminded you of after your first post and that is the matter of pinging Modica when you mention his name as you did in your last post. It's customary here at Free Republic but I suppose you think rules don't apply to yourself.

Lastly. You took the time to call Mark Modica a liar in bold letters but now it seems you don't have the time to back up your allegations because you're too busy. I consider you a four flusher, when you make a person out to be a liar you should be prepared to back it up when you make the statement.

The only thing I saw “official” was that GM did not share safety protocol for the Volt prior to the fires. It then went on to blame NHTSA for not following protocol that did not even exist! Nhtsa also did not immediately report the incident.

Both NHTSA and GM put people at risk with their actions. As far as anyone being dishonest, I never claimed the Volts started the fires. There are certainly issues with lithium ion batteries that are just coming to light. And GM and the Obama Administration has shown itself to be “dishonest” on many occasions. Most readers here know that but as a refresher lets start with, “taxpayers have been repaid in full”, “Volt demand exceeds supply and is virtually sold out”, “taxpayers will make money on GM”, Volt is a game changer for GM”, “Volt gets 230 MPG”, “Volt is pure EV”, the list goes on and on.

Do you even realize that the Volt loses money for taxpayers and GM? Do you think taxpayers should be paying $7,500 plus State credits to the wealthy and fleet purchasers of Volts? Why is GM selling to localities at $29,500 per vehicle, again at the expense of taxpayers giving federal grants if retail demand is so strong? Why did GM stop 2nd shift for Volts? Why so much money spent hyping a vehicle with such low production?

You are entitled to your opinion, why do those of you on the left try to stop those with differing opinions from voicing theirs? My history is out there. I warned investors of risks involved in investing in GM since IPO. I warned of European risks. The few who may have listened avoided losses. What is your interest? Doesn’t take a lot of courage to post under an alias and make accusations.

I’m not going to spend time debating you. GM share price is all one has to look at to see who has been more accurate on the subject.
