I’m not sure what Morrison was thinking but The Doors music was GREAT!!! I never tire of listening to them.
Agreed. I still skip through parts of the CD’s when my kids are in the car even though they probably hear worse in school! (Especially on the “American Prayer” CD). And I DO often think in terms of God listening to the Doors and other secular bands. Lots of lyrics about searching for identity, spiritual issues, etc. and still say a prayer for those living that they might find the true answer. And some of the songs and lyrics are like that “motivational” poster that says something like “Don’t worry, you can always serve as an example of how NOT to do it!”
