Well done. Regarding number 5 I would add that many of the hand crank radios now come with a charging USB port for just that purpose. They take a while. I know because I’ve tested ours.

But they do work. And the cranking supports number 2, keeping busy. The games are a great idea, too. Every one of our emergency backpacks in our vehicles has a deck of cards in there. Something to pass the time can really help.

We’ve laid in a good supply of those baby wipes, too. When water is in short supply they do a fine job of washing off the worst of the stink. LOL

All of the hand cranked radios that I have seen use rechargeable batteries inside. I have decided to get an excellent quality battery charger, one that can run off of AC or 12 volts DC and that does a sophisticated job of charging the AA and AAA batteries. This gives me more versatility than a crank radio. Of course, you need a reliable way to charge a 12 volt DC battery.
