You got that right! When my late Grandfather worked as a mechanic on the Dawson Pipeline of the AlCan Highway, he was standing next to a Cat as its treads were churning up the tundra. He noticed something stuck in one of the treads and he had the operator stop. He pulled it out and found out it was an old Hudson Bay trading hatchet head!

He brought it home to Wisconsin and eventually, gave it to me. When I was in college, I took it to the Wisconsin State Historical Society where they identified what it was and demanded that I "donate" it to them.

I told them politely to "pound sand" and took it home. It now has a place of honor in my curio cabinet.
