I think Perry fits that description. Worked briefly on the family farm and been in office since 1985.
So the two choices you're trying to decide on have zero public office experience or all public office experience.
Since you don't like "lifers," I guess that makes you a Cain guy. He's not a bad man, but he's not worthy of the top spot in the WH ... yet.
