It’s usually just one of my daughters and myself so I always buy the smallest turkey I can find, about 7 - 8 lbs. Thanksgiving Day evening I cut a bunch of the meat off to use for dinner the next day and maybe a sandwich or two. Then I use the rest of the meat and the carcass to make turkey fricassee.

Next year, buy the largest one you can find. With the price, you can’t find a better buy. It doesn’t take any more effort to cook a 20 lb. than a small one. Then you’ll have lots of leftovers for the freezer to use throughout the year.
