The one think we learned while my wife was battling breast cancer was to keep a positive mental attitude. It made a difference.

Dear Lord in Heaven, We pray for our sister, Barbara. Please heal her, Lord. Eliminate her fears and surround her with Your strength. Guide the doctors, surgeons, oncologists and nurses with wisdom and knowledge. Give courage to her family and friends. May they know how to embrace, calm and strengthen our beloved, Barbara. In this we pray. Amen.

It won’t be long now. (*anxious*)
I just got the word that indeed Barb’s cancer has spread. There is some increase in the bone, but the most notable is detection in the liver now.
She is to stop her current chemo meds and start up another chemo round.

Just saw your update.
My nightly prayers will continue to have Barbara in them. Dittos on the positive attitude. She is probably feeling a little down right now, but time to mentally help the chemotherapy zap those nasty cells one by one. Is she getting help to off set the side effects of the chemotherapy?
