Encouragement for Herman Cain
http://www.hermancain.com/encouragement ^

Posted on 12/01/2011 8:25:19 PM PST by Apollo5600

From Team HC: Please take a moment to write Mr. Cain a note or record a short video sharing why you feel it is important for him to stay in the race and become the next President of the United States of America! We must unite and show Mr. Cain that he is not alone in this fight, but that WE THE PEOPLE stand firmly beside him and behind him! http://www.hermancain.com/encouragement

Apollo5600: I'm starting to get the feeling that Cain's staff are doing their best to keep Cain encouraged. It's quite tragic what is happening to Cain and our political system here. Please everyone, take the time to send Cain a message expressing your support or, at least, encouraging him to stay. The link above is pretty easy to use. You can submit straight to the website. It won't be trolled, since they are moderator reviewed.

I wrote a long one, "Ricardo Galvan" if you happen to see it. Probably hasn't been approved yet.

I am afraid you are probably right. :^( This totally sucks. I am so sick of the media and the elitists picking the candidates. If this were the democrats, there would be a media blackout on all of this garbage—even with pictures and video. It makes me sick.

I will pray for the Cains, too.

Cain said that he’s going to meet with his wife for the first time tomorrow since this broke, so obviously she’s in Georgia. Gloria can’t say anything yea or nay until they talk face to face. This is bad through and through and Monday Cain said he will tell us what’s next.

I can easily envision a married man caring for another woman with his substance without telling his spouse. In fact, it would not surprise me if many men do this. It is precisely because he did not want his wife to doubt his loyalty that he quietly helped someone else. If anything I would think it strange for a man who cares for others - especially a man - 1.) to ask his wife's opinion about how or whether he should take care of someone else of the opposite sex, and 2.) to doubt his spouse would back him up if/when such a thing would come to light.

Come to think of it, a couple years ago I gave $20.00 to a young lady with whom I work; a single mother, younger than me, whom I admire, because she needed it for gas. I did not ask my wife's permission, and I have never told her. Were I Herman Cain, the amount may have been greater but the concept is the same.

I'm not going to let the implications of private decisions become fodder for public accusations. That's the business of people who like to fabricate dirt. I will have no part of that. Sorry.

Come on! You gave a single payment of $20, not month to month. Women say that it’s never the physical connection(sex) that gets to them as much as the emotional connection in a affair and I’m not accusing Herman of having an affair (if this was a year I could accept maybe but this was years after years).

Every critic on this thread repeats the same media meme “he gave money to a woman and didn’t tell his wife”.

SO WHAT

What does it even mean and who cares?

That is a major scandal?

He was accused of a sexual affair - there is no proof, ZERO - but we still gotta tar and feather him because of something that is none of our business?

Who knows or cares how he and his wife handle their private financial business?

What he was accused of is a lie. It’s not enough he has been vilified and accused without a shred of proof for 6 weeks we have to find one thing he did that we don’t understand or agree with and that’s the thing that makes him need to go away?

Sex harassment - no proof
Sex assualt - no proof
Attempted rape - no proof
Sexual Affair - no proof

None of this was his fault it was brought up or harped on.
He is innocent of every one of those charges unless and until there is PROOF otherwise. No one is even attempting to offer PROOF of those charges. None exists.

But instead of maybe being sympathetic towards a man who has been falsely accused of all those things, the vast majority of folks are gonna have this false misplaced outrage over a personal matter between him and his family?

No one here has any idea what their financial situation or way of handling such matters were and no one should care. We have a fricken meltdown in this country going on and a man who has had a successful career and marriage is being torn asunder while most of you either watch in judgment or cheer it on.

Herman Cain has been ripped apart for 6 weeks with ZERO PROOF of any one of the smears against him being proven true. This latest one has been nothing but another lie. The accusation wasn’t that he gave someone money or that his wife wasn’t aware. The charge was he was carrying on a private consensual affair. That charge has been brought forth by a woman who has offered no proof of a private consensual affair, no one to back up her story, and a history of being a complete liar and fraud.

For God sakes people get a grip.

It appears the Stalin, er, Chicago Machine has managed to destroy another one of our candidates. This is an all too familiar pattern we are seeing here.

By November, the last one left standing will be Obama. That's the plan. And of course, he'll be elected because nobody else "qualifies" for the job.

We still know nothing about him!

They can’t talk on the phone? How is Cain going to talk to world leaders during a crisis if he can’t pick up a phone and talk to his wife? Doesn’t sound right.

So, if your wife found out about it from someone else, how would she take it? Don't you think that maybe she would, like any normal human, be concerned? Perhaps doubt your intentions? Maybe even question your fidelity, even fleetingly? Playing with fire that is, yes, mmmmm.

Sorry, but this whole thing does not rise to the level of discarding Cain from consideration. It just doesn’t. Even if these unfounded accusations were leveled against Zero, it would not effect my decision regarding qualifications for the office.

But . . . feel free to roll around the dirt if it makes you feel better.

They made it up from what I have seen, note there is no source to these innuendos. They make them and run. This is what the political class does to keep themselves in power and keeping the path to socialistic totalitarianism going. Herman Cain is the only one speaking of policies that will truly return us to a Constitutional Republic.

No. But, when the person you are giving money to, says they had an affair with you; when you admit you had a 13 year relationship with a woman that your wife did not know about—not honoring to your marriage vows— and you have your lawyer put out a statement that pertains to this woman’s accusations by saying that your “private sexual life” is no one’s business....

Well, it doesn’t take Columbo to see that this all adds up to an affair.

Touchy-feely BS between spouses only makes a difference in government affairs when the AP sparks your emotions. Get over it.
