Good catch - my father was the only ‘guy’ in my life - - he bought the gun with money given to my brother, sister and me... Mom was furious about it. To prove to Mom that it really WAS for us he’d take us hunting - and off for target practice on week-ends. It was fun. I never took the gun out alone at that age. Good catch on the ‘guy’ thing...
I had my first bb gun around 7 or so. It was a huge deal in my life. Got pretty good at hitting targets and such. As far as hunting, my experiences started as a runner for pops. LOL.
