The 1MWh battery can run 5.5 hours (approximately). This piece mentions both the a123 system and the “LI ON” system (which uses a different chunk of technology). This piece mentions who/where/why ~ http://www.green.autoblog.com/2010/09/13/a123-systems-opens-whats-hailed-as-north-americas-largest-li-i/ and HOW ~ government grant! These suckers are a whole ‘nuther thing ~ you might want to read up on some of the claims they make for their proprietary technology ~ they both deal with proton capture on a very large scale. Just ask yourself “what happens to the electrons”?
What people don't realize is that, they think all fuel injection is sequential, the injector fires right when the intake valve opens, well not on early ones. They'd fire injectors in batches at the point of the intake opening on each cylinder. That seems like a bad idea since if it was a batch of four, the last one got three times the amount of the first one. But in reality, since it was a repeating cycle, they all got the same amount.
I think almost all injection is sequential now, the computers are fast enough.
Believe me, I'd much rather work on injection than a carb, setting float height, jetting by reading plugs. I still have nightmares about quadrajets which weren't that bad a carb. Now, with OBDII, the computer tells you where the problem is, it's pretty cool. If your car has a CAN (car or controller area network) it will even tell you about the transmission if it's electronic or other bits like the electronic suspension on some cars.
Please tell me you got an honest job.
Um, sorry gramps. I’m posting on the thread’s TOPIC: NASA’s Bushnell... Not Rossi. The science has been developed by NASA LRC for 3-4 years under Bushnell’s leadership.
Your reframe to Rossi ad hom has nothing to do with what NASA or Bushnell has been doing. Or this disclosure. NASA and dozens of other guv’mnt outfits will be going forward with little regard to Rossi. Stay on topic old man;)
Infans est pater homm.
Thanks for the post...I was just wondering about this earlier today...
You are about as close to any real science as you are to a beautiful woman. Get real. You talk smack and know nothing.
exceedingly high tech FANTASTIC battery
***Either way, Rossi is onto something
You constantly lie
***Bowlsheet. Prove the lies. Or apologize to a fellow freeper.
You constantly lie about Rossis activities including to have claimed cold fusion is already here
***It is here. We’ve been discussing Ecats for almost a year now.
and including that you will post a bold faced lie that someone verified Rossis machine when all they have said is that it would be great if he did have one.
***WTF are you talking about?
You post their titles, inaccurately at best in many cases, and what goverment or civilian agency they are from and claim they have verified Rossis claims when they have not.
***Dude. You’re overwrought. I post articles. Those articles might have inconsistencies but there isn’t a FReeper alive who can stay on top of all that level of detail, so buzz off.
You then claim previous postings to that affect when in fact they wasnt the case.
***Again, you’re overwrought. Also, take a writing class. Maybe you’ll be able to put together a meaningful sentence.
cheer leading that has gotten in the way.
***Cheer leading is not lying. Nor is it liberal.
There is no excuse to call another FReeper a liar without proof. Not that CYC is the one accusing me of lying, but what he just noted is worth highlighting.
Maybe my language was a little compact, but the cold, hard facts are the carburation system on that car he'ps me get 35 MPG.
The issue was 100 MPG, not technical terminology anyway.
I did a bit of research and found that over the last several months you've had less than a dozen posts on FR that had anything to do with something other than Andrea Rossi and his devices and life's experiences.
BTW, I did that (quite OCD type of) search (and you ought to know what OCD is about, eh) during the PBS Andrea Bocelli program!
I do believe you were criticizing Italian guys named "Andrea" and you criticized Kevmo or posting so often on "LENR" topics.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but my goodness fella', you are a screwball!
Oh, yeah, my other Hyundais (I own only Hyundais BTW) continue to get great gas mileage. According to the company's own information there are "conversion kits" out there that should snap right in so I can use other fuels ~ but I should still avoid E85.
Took me so long? It took me five seconds. I already knew that that car didn’t have a throttle body. Also, your language is still incorrect: your car does not have a carburetor, it has fuel injection.
Once again, you’ve mistaken me for somebody else. I never criticized Italian guys named Andrea (in fact, I have an Italian friend, a guy, named Andrea—it’s a common name, just so you know).
Leave it alone!!
?????????????
Are you kidding, or are you off your meds yet again?
Go to the USPS thread ~ that's more current.
If you consider suppressing viable energy alternatives, colluding with other gas refiners to keep the price high as well as keeping propane and heating oil high during the winter when it’s needed most an honest job, well then, I have an honest job.
Please don’t talk about subjects where you don’t have a clue. Your Hyundai gets good mileage because it is light and has a small engine, that’s the secret.
This reminds me of watching the older kids in Jr. High picking on a Down's syndrome kid and me not being able to do anything about it.
Whatever your problem is, you either need to take your meds like they've been prescribed or you need to talk to a Doctor. Show him your posts, that should give him valuable insight.
