Dec 2, 2011 - Perry: Faith

We Do Not Know……..”We do not know. But if it’s not given to us mere humans to know, we are capable of learning. We’re a month away from the Iowa caucus. There are three months before 90 percent of the Republicans in the nation begin voting, and even then, further information will be produced and processed as the primaries unfold. The Democrats are stuck with their nominee—a failed and unpopular president. Republicans, by contrast, are free to choose. They are in no way required to rush to judgment. And they need not defer to pundits whose “station, office, and dignity” impel them to claim to know what they do not know.”

This is a difficult election.

Yes, it is. I'm looking at Santorum depending on what ol' Herm does; and I would support Perry before I'd willingly back Newt. It seems like we've been talking about these guys for about three years now.

Can't wait for the first vote to actually be cast.

Romney is (to pinch from my candidate’s campaign) scared mittless. He is nervous of his own shadow. Rarely have I seen such an uninspired, spineless, risk-averse, campaign from a so-called front-runner. Good grief. Is THIS what we are going to have to face if he wins the nomination?

I have a feeling that if Newt cannot maintain his front-runner status, Perry will get a second look. Newt’s position on immigration neutralizes Perry’s problem. What Perry needs is an above average performance in the debates. At this moment, people’s expectation on his ability to debate is quite low, so if he’s doing quite fine, that’s probably enough for him.

Team Romney has backstabbed:

Gov. Palin
Sen. Thompson
Gov. Huckabee
Ms. O’Donnell
The Tea Party
Mr. Cain.

Anyone who dares get in the way of the entitled,
but ineligible, Mitt “the Carpetbagging coward” Romney.

Whoa! Romney's a little smarter than I thought.

We are not going to get a PERFECT candidate. I believe that Perry is better than a just hold your nose vote.

EVERYBODY is a threat to RinoRomney.

He may have the RINO$$$—but the electorate doesn’t want him.

Sorta like McNutt last time around.

I suspect that as Newt's star begins to diminish upon closer examination, that Perry will get another look. He may not be a seasoned debater, though he is getting better. He does interview good in one on one situations. And unlike others, he can admit to his mistakes and apologize for them. His Christian faith is strong and he lets it show for all to see, and he is a Washington outside who will go there with major changes in mind. Santorum and Bachman are great people, and demonstrate their Christian faith publicly, But they come across as candidates for city council or school board. They, like Cain and Obama, are in over their heads.

This race has so many twists and turns, a gal could get whiplash! For all that pay attention here, I can’t speak for you but will only say that I’m wearing out with it all. They say politics is a spectator sport, but I feel like I’ve done 10 rounds already! Just let me vote already and let chips fall where they may. (and don’t ask who I’m voting for because at this moment I can’t make a decision on that)

Romney is the elephant in the room that all the other candidates were scared to death of. So for some reason all the other candidates decided to destroy Rick Perry.

If there are two people in the campaign that don’t like each other, it is definitely Perry and Romney. You can tell that Perry thinks Romney is a little wimpy twirp who is elitist and Romney thinks Perry is just a hick. You can tell they despise each other just by the way they look at each other. However, Romney has other problems to worry about besides Perry.....he is going to be crushed by any of the 7 other nominees including Perry.
