PING!
Top 5!
Me, too!
Mornin’ all.
It’s hard to imagine that with even Obama against marijuana that these people are going to get legalized drugs anytime soon.
Six?
Saw that last night. Interesting.
Those goofy idiots aside, this bthers the HELL out of me.
This is a state’s rights issue. This is where I am extremely concerned (and you should be too) about our SCOTUS. SCOTUS has routinely favored a Fed over State meme. This is why I am convinced we lose on ObamaCare. This is why I am convinced we are going to lose many states rights issues INCLUDING abortion.
I’m with you, and I chuckle at these fools too, but we should be alarmed by this ... VERY alarmed.
The guy who wrote that ‘he won’t miss my vote when I stay home’ is true, he will be staying home toking while 0 will be defeated.
“Free edibles” Must mention coupon....lol
“Medical marijuana”. The world’s second largest hoax and scam. They said that they were going to “tax the hell out of it” once it was “legalized”. Where the hell did that money go?
The BIG coupon news now are the downloadable coupons you can get via your SmartPhone. Walgreens recently had a two day downloadable $5 John Frieda coupon. Combined with a $3 manufacturer’s coupon it meant you got John Frieda products FREE plus overage. Just pick up about 3 dozen John Frieda products via the smartphone and, with the overage stuff, the smartphone pays for itself which is why I will be getting one soon. I already got a smartphone for my wife and she doesn’t do crap with it despite all its bells and whistles. Not even simple photos will she do. Next phone I get her will be a BASIC phone where you just make calls. Tough luck. I warned her. USE the apps or lose a smartphone the next time around.
Some of the medical marijuana claims are legit. However, I do have to chuckle while watching on “Weed Wars” how EASY it is to get a “prescription” for medical marijuana. Did you sneeze a couple of times too many last week? Good! We we write you up a prescription for medical marijuana. However, for the guy with the son that had seizures on “Weed Wars,” the medical (non-buzz) marijuana seems to help out.
Top 20!
Now waitaminute....you gotta get the coupons to get the smartphone, but you gotta get the smartphone to get the coupons?!!
[Dope and Change?]
The bamster is focused like a laser on jobs. Oh wait. Never mind. More people out of work.
Which is it?
Both Silberman and Sutton cited Scalia's opinion in 2005 upholding strict federal regulation of marijuana in the case of Angel Raich, a Californian who used home-grown marijuana to relieve her pain. "If Congress could regulate Angel Raich when she grew marijuana on her property for self-consumption," Sutton wrote, "it is difficult to say Congress may not regulate the 50 million Americans who self-finance their medical care."

Thomas's warning in the Raich case has proven to be very prescient:
Respondents Diane Monson and Angel Raich use marijuana that has never been bought or sold, that has never crossed state lines, and that has had no demonstrable effect on the national market for marijuana. If Congress can regulate this under the Commerce Clause, then it can regulate virtually anything, and the Federal Government is no longer one of limited and enumerated powers.
J. Thomas, dissenting in Raich
I never said anything about who should be enforcing the law. Take that crap somewhere else. I know bull**** when I see it and the "medical marijuana" thing is bull****.
