Does the sheriff have any power to prevent voter fraud. Could he arrest those attempting to put an ineligible candidate on his county's ballot?

I am not sure what his powers are. Certainly if charges were brought by the Election Board he could make arrests, but I feel they would have to make the request, I doubt if he has the powers to change the ballot or turn down those ineligible without a request.I don’t believe that is under the purview of his office.

Well?....If an ordinary citizen reports voter fraud isn't that enough? Voter fraud is a crime, isn't it?

I’m surprised there isn’t at least one birther that doesn’t have a close friend in congress, that will tell him what gives with this issue.
