Sure I can. Bloomberg is a liberal democrat who switched parties to become a Republican so that he could run for Mayor. He never changed his beliefs when he changed his party affiliation. He was, A REPUBLICAN IN NAME ONLY.

Ron Paul is not a RINO, he's a libertarian loon. ON the fiscal side, his ideals fall pretty close in line with traditional Republican beliefs, but he fails because of his "non-intervenionist" (read isolationist) foreign policy beliefs, but those do not make him a RINO, just a dangerously naive fool.

Classic, undeniable RINOs include Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, Lincoln Chaffee and his father John Chaffee, Nelson Rockefeller, Jacob Javitts, Mark Hatfield, Lowell Weicker, Chuck Hagel, and let's not forget "Jumpin'" Jim Jeffords who actually made his status official by changing parties, and Arlan Spector who did the same in a futile attempt to save his sorry butt.

Your list of New England politicians consists of those who were once called ROCKEFELLER REPUBLICANS.

They were very real Republicans ~ still are, but they're all bats((+ crazy.

Their time has come and gone long ago.

Jeffords did what he did for a deal on milk price supports. That's not a big issue any more. He sold his reputation for curds. That makes him an idiot ~ you'd get headlines like this one: " Jun 28, 2006 – Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today joined with Senator Jim Jeffords (I-Vt.), to introduce bipartisan legislation "

That's hardly bipartisan but it certainly doubled down on the elemental ideocracy those two could come up with.
