I have a pair of Danner GTX 452’s(I think that’s the number.) Anyhow, I’ve had them for 8 years. I’ve had them resoled, and restiched. As long as I do a biannual cleaning, saddlesoaping and waterproofing, those boots are as good as new, and broken in. I fear the Danner co. may be a little upset with me, because I haven’t bought any new boots from them. I’ve spent a bit on their new shoe laces and maintenance products, though!
