When ever my Wife's family spews out that line (they are Palestinian Muslims) I always remind them, the Jesus was in fact a Jew, and was a Rabbi who quoted the Torah and lived by the Jewish Customs.

...Well it’s a nifty appeal to the Catholics, anyway. After all, the capital of Syria Palestina was, only and ever, Rome. Jerusalem is mentioned but once in the entirety of the Koran.
