The petitions (signatures) were in on time BUT last month (Nov 2011), the State decided that for the first time, all signature addresses had to be cross checked with addresses on file with Voter Registration records. With that, a large amount of signatures were disallowed and Newt wound up short of the necessary 10,000 signature.
If the only choices I Have are Myth & RuPaul, I’ll vote for the latter. I will NEVER vote for Myth.
So...if another candidate like Mitt who did get on the ballot didn’t and your guy or gal did get the signatures, wouldn’t you be laughing and loving everymoment. Maybe Newt just doesn’t have the support in virginia? how hard can it be to get 10k signatures? We never seemed to have had this problem before. Lazy candidates...
