It begins: Radio ad asks Iowans to caucus for Sarah Palin ("Vote rogue")

Iowans might feel a bit overwhelmed by the choices for next Tuesday’s Republican caucuses for the GOP presidential nomination, but one independent group has begun running radio ads insisting that there is still room for one more choice. Calling itself “Sarah Palin’s Iowa Earthquake,” the group will target specific markets in Iowa asking voters to line up behind the Republican Party’s most prominent non-candidate, and other ads will apparently follow:

Can Iowans caucus for Palin at this late date? Sure. Unlike primary states, there is no “ballot” in the legal sense at caucuses. Attendees can write in names on the list of candidates they receive at the caucuses, and those votes will count. Of course, without Palin on the ballot and not officially in the race, not too many caucus-goers may choose to vote for her. If enough are dissatisfied with the current choices, though, she might be a handy code for None of the Above — and might get some significant level of support if the ads prompt enough Iowa voters to consider this as an option.

If so, who does that hurt most? Probably not Mitt Romney, whose base of support doesn’t have a lot of overlap with Palin’s. Newt Gingrich rose in the polls mainly on Tea Party support, so he’d be likely to feel the sting a little more, especially for those who backed Gingrich because he looked like the only viable alternative to Romney or Ron Paul. Paul might lose a little of his more recent support, but he’s going to get hurt more over his old newsletters and the vetting of his foreign-policy kookiness. It may end up hurting the candidates in the second tier struggling for an Iowa miracle — Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann. That’s assuming, of course, that it has any impact at all.

Let’s take a look at all five. The first two spots focus on the need to clean up crony capitalism:

"She quit Alaskans "

I am really getting sick of explaining this over and over for the mentally deficient but here goes again.

Sarah Palin was being sued over and over and over with BS lawsuits that are allowed under Alaska law. These suits were encouraged and financed by the left who were determined to destroy Palin, because they feared her. (Sound familiar, Forkey?)

Palin was required to spend her own money defending each of these bogus lawsuits and they were disrupting the governance of Alaska, as well as literally bankrupting the Palin family.

Under the circumstances it was in the best interests of Alaska that she hand over the reins to someone who was not being targeted.

I bet that YOU wouldn't have been able to hold out against such an onslaught either, or do you have a couple tens of millions stashed away as a legal defense fund somewhere?

But you just go on ahead and keep spewing the propaganda for the left. It tells us who you really are.

I don't know her PERSONALLY. I didn't like McCain and I voted for him. I liked Obama even less.

I don't vote based on VIBES. What a lefty notion. ‘

Actually, DD knows Governor Sarah Palin and her husband Todd.
DD worked with Mr. Palin on several energy and economic issues for 6 months or so. She says they are real people, and are what they appear to be. She has respect for Mr. Palin and would work with him again.

Another issue that will work for her is the ‘transparency’ problem that Mr. Obama has created for himself.

On reviewing the thread, I was remiss in not noting that Governor Sarah Palin has a perfectly fine bus and if she needs another, she has worked hard, earned her own money and can jolly well pay for it, in addition to helping other Conservative candidates.

Being a tattle-tale isn’t particularly grown-up, either.

You are so right on that.

It's one thing if someone calls another poster a vile name or says something nastily slanderous.

But there's a small group of people here who ping Jim, the Mods or their posse on anyone who disagrees with them in an attempt to intimidate.

Believe me, they despise those of us they can't bully.

I find their attempts to intimidate childish and reprehensible.

I sit here warm and dry just a few miles shy...

Of the place that made the media mad and drew the crazies like a fad.

Just as suspected. A certain group of supporters is peeing their pants at the thought of Palin being drafted.

“You have no idea who I am or what I stand for so stuff it!”

Well, you do give clues. Or maybe I just got a vibe.

I am not going to stuff anything.

Nor am I going to let that leftist spew about Palin being a quitter go by unchallenged.

That Lady has earned everything that she has. Including respect. But the press has done it’s best to minimize her. And it worked on some people. They even post on FR. Unfortunately.
