I am as hopelessly confused as Team Obama wishes me to be. The Hawaiians released an abstract of data on file. The President's people released a copy of that on Birth Certificate stock.
There is no "Certified Copy" of a Birth Certificate. Sheriff Joe out there in Arizona and I have the same view of this situation. If indeed there is a Birth Certificate out in Hawaii, why not just zip that puppy through the ole Xerox, notarize it as a a "certified copy" and fax it over?
And once (as if we are ever going to be) we're through that charade, when is one (1) ein, uno, un candidate going to say, "I don't give a rat's ass if this SOB was delivered while his mother was scoring a touchdown on Thanksgiving Day in the Yale Bowl. The claimed biological papá was a citizen of a country other than than ours. Article II does not say "Born in Hawaii." It says "Natural Born Citizen."
NB my tag line, please. And I'm stickin' to it.
Multiple Sources Claim They Saw Obama on the Surface of Mars in the Early 1980s
Journalists keep getting it wrong! It doesn't matter where he was born. He didn't have two American parents. My position is that if he was born on the capital steps he would not be eligible because he only had one American parent.
Consider this conversation at McCains eligibility inquiry by the U.S. Senate: "My assumption and my understanding is that if you are born of American parents, you are naturally a natural-born American citizen," Chertoff replied. "That is mine, too," said Leahy. What's interesting here is that Sen. Leahy Judiciary, confirms that a "natural born" citizen is the child of American citizen parents. Parents --that's two. That's BOTH parents.
