By 1992 Perot had sold EDS to GM and had another company, Perot Systems (1988). My recollection is that he was off shoring to India while hearing those sucking sounds.
I have long believed that his running for president was entirely to secure the Hillarykare contract -- one sixth of the U.S. economy.
