Actually to be honest, THAT sounds EXACTLY like something that Ricky Santorum would shout out on a daily basis : )

Did Rick sign legislation to require school kids to be tested for steroids?.......

"According to the Associated Press, Texas lawmakers will pledge some $1.5 million to fund a steroid testing initiative over the next two years, with the tests on athletes to be carried out only for those in sports where steroid use is deemed a more significant risk, with football, baseball, track and field and girls soccer most likely to receive the brunt of testers' attention.".... You are correct, in 2011 Rick Perry signed a bill to defund Planned Parenthood.

However in the years 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009 Rick Perry signed bill that gave taxpayer funds to Planned Parenthood.

In those NINE years that Rick Perry signed legislation to fund Planned Parenthood, I wonder how many Little Baby Texans were murdered by Planned Parenthood?

So you advocate the State of Texas having the power to test our children for steroids?

And you and Rick believe that it is the responsibility of the Texas taxpayer to fund steroid testing?

Did Rick sign legislation to use taxpayer dollars to pay for kid’s braces and provide rides to the dentist?

Source....."Part of a special investigation that began with braces and ended up with Affiliated Computer Services, the company which processes Medicaid dental claims. Now the Texas Senate will hold hearings beginning next year."

"While that my be interesting, you somehow forgot to include some text from Gov. Perry's 2007 Executive Order."

Rules. The Health and Human Services Executive Commissioner shall adopt rules that mandate the age appropriate vaccination of all female children for HPV prior to admission to the sixth grade.

Rules. The Health and Human Services Executive Commissioner shall adopt rules that mandate the age appropriate vaccination of all female children for HPV prior to admission to the sixth grade.

That is the age it is most effective. It is also being recommended for boys.

Oct 25, 2011: Routine HPV vaccine recommended for boys - The panel that advises the CDC on vaccines recommends that the shot be given to boys ages 11 and 12 in addition to girls, noting that the virus is linked to many other cancers besides cervical.

……However, as of 2010, only about a third of U.S. girls had received the three-dose vaccine, and the rates are plateauing, said Dr. Anne Schuchat, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.

Another potential barrier to routine use is money. The three-shot series costs at least $300.

"Year after year we continue to have evidence of low uptake in girls," said Dr. Jane Kim, an assistant professor of health decision science at Harvard School of Public Health who has studied the cost-effectiveness of the HPV vaccine. "When we're at such low coverage for girls, it is of value to vaccinate boys."

It's not clear how well parents will embrace vaccination of their adolescent sons. Those who are dubious should know that vaccination against HPV may help prevent other types of cancers, such as those of the penis, head, neck and mouth, said Dr. Jessica Kahn, associate professor of pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and chair of the vaccinations committee for the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, which supported the recommendation.

Rates of oral cancers are rising, and HPV infection is now thought to account for more cases of oral cancer than tobacco use, Kahn said.

And, she added, the vaccine is just as safe and effective in boys as in girls.

The key to acceptance, Kahn added, will be in making sure that parents understand the range of diseases that HPV can cause in their sons. The role of HPV in cervical cancer is broadly known, she said. "But we fall short in explaining what HPV can cause in boys and men."

Could you please clarify.

Did Rick Perry sign a piece of legislation that provided Medicaid funding to provide braces and also included transportation to the orthodontist?

Re: your tagline "If Rick PerryRick Santorum/Gingrich cannot secure his name on the VA ballot, how can he be trusted to secure America?"

Obsessive compulsive Perry haters are so transparent and boringly repetitive, they fool nobody.

Is Santorum/Gingrich supporting the Confederate Flag on the Texas License plate yet?

Thanks for the clarification and letting us know that you support Gov. Perry’s Executive Order that read:

“Rules. The Health and Human Services Executive Commissioner shall adopt rules that mandate the age appropriate vaccination of all female children for HPV prior to admission to the sixth grade.”

Let’s see you, like Gov. Perry advocate that the Texas Taxpayer provide In-State Tuition for Illegal Aliens, advocate that the Texas Taxpayer pay for the forced steroid testing of high school students, advocate that the Texas Taxpayer pay for STD vaccines for 11 year old girls and that the State MANDATE that they be vaccinated?

And you also like all those free braces that Texas Taxpayer is paying for !

“If you have something about that, give me a link.”

DALLAS - Last year, Texas taxpayers spent $184 million so kids on Medicaid could get free braces. Taxpayers did not just pay orthodondists for doing work many in the middle class consider a luxury. Under Medicaid, the public spent $13 million on orthodontic transportation.

From your LINK: "In June, federal agents raided Goodwin.

According to a search warrant, Michael Goodwin typicaly spent "half of each month" at another dental clinic he owns in Indiana. The search warrant alleges unlicensed assistants did much of the work while he was away. The core of the search warrant is an allegation that says Goodwin performed 23,521 fraudulent Medicaid claims over three years. Federal agents raided the office in an effort to seize his checking accounts."
