I hate to say it again, but, "in your dreams." The pattern is so fimly established that I am convinced that every time one of these challenges has even the slightest chance of being successful, there are phone calls made, threats of a very persuasive nature issued, silence demanded, and the matter rests - every time. That well may be the case. At a minimum the political fix - "damn the Constitution, whatever it takes to succeed" - has been in for some time.
To your point, we have a growing body of the disciples of the 60s anti-Americans augmented by a group of down and dirty politicians. Carried to the extreme, if and when the court system more noticeably fails us and the people come to a clear realization we no longer are a nation of laws, it will be game on.
Re NH, as a temperature gauge it will be interesting to see whether the state representatives now speaking out are easily blown off. Or whether they press the argument in court, if necessary, that their government is ignoring the statutes they pass.
