The reason the crime rate didn’t go up with all these extra guns is that they were bought by law abaiding citizens.

I did my part. I bought a K31 for my Christmas present to myself. No background check required on that.

So let assume each new gun owner buys 2000 rounds of Ammo (a single brick of 22lr is 500 rounds and my kids can burn that up in an afternoon) , times that by our conservative estimate of 10,800,000 firearms your get 21,600,000,000
that is trillion with a T. Umm... Actually that is 21.6 Billion rounds.

Free Americans Buy 10,800,000+ Guns in 2011 ~ Message Dont F-with USA
Sorry to state the bloody obvious, but Thats what keeps us free.
Of course, Obama and his National cadre of Socialists would like to change all that.

If nothing else, I think Obama should go down in history as the best Gun Salesman of all time.
Remember when he first went into office? I couldn’t find ammo anywhere for love or money.

Yeah, maybe, but the media says that Americans own a total of 300 million guns.
So, that means that no new guns have been bought since 1964 because I remember way back then, and they then said Americans owned 300 million guns in 1964, 1968, 1972. Even though the population nearly doubled since 1964, Gun ownership has not increased at all.

>>...I am glad to see so many of my fellow Americans decided to exercise their right to keep and bear arms over the last year and I hope we continue to see record growth in gun ownership in the year to come. America, Hell Yeah!...<<
This is *GREAT* news. Except the down side — I’m now into the 5th month awaiting an NFA tax stamp. The inspectors are apparently *swamped*.

Gun and Ammo the only sector showing any increase in sales during the Obamaconomy. This is a good sign. Can anyone name a single product that is posting sales numbers like Guns and Ammo.
