I had a mammogram today and had to show my drivers license with picture. I couldn’t help but wonder why these people who supposedly can’t get picture ID do when they show up at doctor’s offices, imaging centers or labs????
I sat in the waiting room and couldn’t help but think of the many arguments put up against picture ID for voting! It’s certainly AS important if not more, as showing it at a doctor’s office....
Has anyone at FR gone to a doctor’s office/hospital/lab or imaging center without showing photo ID?
I have to show a pic ID every time I go to the doctor, to the bank, to pick up my kids from school - I don’t see what the big deal is. Here in FL if you can’t have a driver’s license for some reason, you can get a legal FL ID from the DMV for $25.00. Seems pretty simple to me.
