I firmly believe it is Democrats who are tilting the polling results to say that “most” Republicans favor Romney. There is simply too much knowledge about his liberalism among conservatives for him to be the “frontrunner,” but I suppose I could be underestimating the intelligence and awareness of Republican voters.
Romney is being lifted up by the Left, period. Voter fraud in the primaries is happening, and voter fraud in the general election is a certainty.
We are so screwed.
This is BlackElk speaking, I just liked it so much I made it into a vanity and am posting a few more of his comments. I asked his permission first. He said it all much better than I can.

Freedumb, you are smart enough to know why Hunstman came out in favor of Mitt.
He has allegiances that are stronger than politics and has taken oaths that he still holds to.
I also think he is hoping for a cabinet position from Romney or maybe even a VP slot.
Every one of them was a despicable excuse for a Republican and every time the rationalization forced upon us was that the Demonrat candidate was sooooo much worse and that the republic would surely cease to exist if the Demonrat were elected.

The “leaders” destroyed the credibility of the Tea Party freshmen by buying and bullying them into supporting a $2.4 trillion increase in the debt limit and therefore in Obozo’s election year allowance as Santa Claus. Now he is back looking for more only six months later. Even my fine veteran Congressman voted for that insanity last year. He is demanding that Congress be brought back into session in the House to pass a resolution telling Obozo: NO! to his demand for another $trillion +. My Congressman will be disappointed by the whore in the Speaker’s chair. What else is new?
Personally, I am not interested in would’a, could’a, should’a. I am verrrry interested in seeking the destruction of each and every rotten, corrupt GOP SOB and cowardly quisling and special interest marionette responsible for the Mittwit if he is nominated. Paul won’t be nominated but, if he were, likewise.
I was a Reagan state chairman when he challenged Ford. We will build a Reaganite majority when we build a disciplined strike force of Republican actual conservatives, unbought, unbossed and not ever paid for. We will train youth and old folks who have time on their hands. We will train in ideology and in nuts and bolts of organization. Like Scarlett O’Hara digging in the turnip patch, just before intermission, we will never put up with this year’s kind of crap again. Let us understand what it means to be partisans and act accordingly. Rule or ruin! Now and forever.

Read Obama will try to unionized our military next term. Defiance, to be meaningful, now means Third Party, or a well orchestrated write-in ballot. I am able to cast a write-in. Or,.......we can count on Ron Paul to run Third Party, if he doesn’t achieve a brokered convention.

He describes excatly why we must have a CONSERVATIVE to vote for in the upcoming election; and why voting for an "R" who is NOT conservative is worse than nothing at all. Never give up!
It’s like “do you want the bullet in the right temple or the left temple?” Both choices are quite fatal and thus highly undesirable. Hopefully folks will start coming to their senses soon, or this will be an unmitigated disaster for our nation, and we will likely suck most of the world down the toilet with us.
