“Unfortunately the majority do not have a clue who Gideon was and what a ‘servant’ he was”

Sad but true..!

“Ron Paul is an old man that I guess believes his own words, but I sure cannot follow his trains of thoughts. Actually, I have given up trying. I just look at him as an old man that has garnered a Messianic type following and who knows what is next for them.”

I understand. He sorta reminds me of a ship withot a rudder.

It's what they say it is. Governemnt confined to retaliatory force against coercers who violate others' individual rights.

I really mean no disrespect to you, but these words are a bowl full of confusion. What 'right' do you as an individual NOT have that you expect the government to 'give' you. Specifically, what do you expect a Ron Paul administration to GIVE you that you now do not have?

Excellent post!!! Take it a step further.... tell the people that there are 2 types of libertarians, capital L libertarians and small case l libertarians. The capital L are the nutjobs, and there numbers are small. The small case l libertarians are very close to conservative, just a little more constitution based. Those that say all libertarians are the same, I say all republicans are conservatives.... This is not true for the republicans, and it is not true for the libertarians..

They don't want anything from the government, except protection of their persons and property. That's the clearest I can make it.

Thanks a lot. You're right; there are two kinds of libertarians. Earlier, I broached the possibility that the ones who grate here will end up infiltrating the Democrat party.

Another great article.

So Newt is a GateKeeper and Palin is a Revolutionary ?

...it was little more than a loincloth for the naked emperor already sitting on his throne and looking for the plebes to cry out for more chains.

Screw the chains. What we need is more....

When ever in the history of time did the so called ‘libertarians’ ever lead a charge and hold together a ‘civil’ productive society.

The "just leave me alone" crowd is peopled with the best and brightest among us. That they are self deluded is manifestly obvious to everyone but themselves. They are not, however, true libertarians. They are revolutionaries and will carry out this revolution at the cost of their lives if necessary.

Do not believe for a moment that support for Paul is ideological. It is not. It is a gut reaction to the corruption that has become our political establishment. Paul will be thrown out by this crowd as quickly as Obama if he utters establishment rhetoric.

So call Paulbots are crying out for revolution. They are arming themselves and training for warfare. They will not be stopped. Can a Newt win them over. Doubtful. If he tries he will cut into Paul's support. The way forward is revolution, without question.

My personal opinion about the so called 'revolutionaries' is they ignore at their own peril who controls the 'big' guns. AND that bunch that does control, has since 2006 set in motion every possible attempt to have an Egypt styled 'spring' all across this land. I consider it DIVINE intervention we conservatives did not take their bait. The ballot box is where we as 'civilized' individuals demonstrate our rejection of liberalism... The problem is that liberalism is so deeply entrenched into the fiber of this nation we cannot find enough 'republicans' to fulfilled their constitutional oaths.

The best signal to send to these liberals is to make sure that their hoax of a recall against Governor Walker fails. We may have to do this state by state and Congressional seat and Senate seat, but there will be nothing gained playing 'war' games with the destructive liberals. Reason, we cannot count on the majority of elected Republicans, they would join up with the liberal army to assist in our defeat. Personally, I consider Boehner a spineless joke and am hoping and praying he gets retired to the golf course permanently.

The fundamental issue is the re election of Obama, If this occurs there will be substantial violent revolution. Too many people with too many guns are too angry about his presidency to allow even the possibility that his reelection will not be met with violence.
